Texas: An elderly American man has set a Guinness World Record by skydiving.

The oldest skydiver record was first set by Alfred ‘Al’ Bleschke from Texas in 2020 at the age of 103. The record was later broken by Swedish woman Ruth Linia Larsson at the age of 103 years and 257 days.

Alfred made another attempt at the age of 106 years and 327 years to regain this record and succeeded. He was joined in this effort by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

“If you think you can’t, you’re underestimating yourself,” Alfred Bleschke told Guinness World Records. Everyone is capable of more than they are, they just need to decide to try.
