Interestingly, the mosque has been constructed in such a way that not a single nail has been used and there is no pillar in the entire mosque.

The doors and walls of the mosque, including the minbar, ceiling and chandeliers are made of precious Diyar wood and it took 8 years to complete its construction.

Regarding the construction of the mosque, the elders of the area say that the construction of the mosque started in 2001 and was completed in 2008. During the hand engraving is a testament to the skill of the artisans.

Muhammad Umar, the administrator of this mosque, told Geo News that the carving work has been done by artisans from Chiniot and Risalpur apart from Swat.

He also said that in the month of Ramadan, people come from far and wide in this mosque and there is a lot of rush.
