A citizen’s river cruise in Australia’s largest pumpkin

New South Wales: An Australian citizen has performed a strange feat in which he took a large pumpkin and used it as a boat and crossed the Tumut River.

According to media reports, a man named Adam Farkason took the largest pumpkin grown in the country this year, turned it into a small boat and set out to cross the Tumut River in Australia.

Weighing around 408kg, the pumpkin was grown by local resident Mark Peacock and won the largest pumpkin award at Australia’s Royal Easter Show. This pumpkin is the largest pumpkin ever to win an award at any show in Australia.

At the awards ceremony, the pumpkin caught the attention of Mark’s friend Adam Furkason. Adam asks Mark if he can give him the pumpkin for a few days before it becomes fodder for his cattle, to which Mark agrees.

After receiving the permission, Adam took the pumpkin and began to hollow it out into a small boat. After which Adam sat in it and traveled for a mile in the Tumut River in New South Wales. Meanwhile, hundreds of spectators watched the demonstration.
