bill to: An explosion occurred in a motorcycle parked on the side of the road in the city of Faizabad, Afghanistan, when a convoy of Taliban army vehicles was passing by.
According to the World News Agency, the motorcycle was loaded with explosives which were detonated by a remote control device. The explosion was so powerful that the Taliban military vehicle was completely destroyed.
No militant group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but Daesh Khorasan has been involved in attacks on military convoys, imambargahs and government offices since the Taliban took over power in 2021.
After the explosion, human organs are scattered everywhere on the scene. 3 officials died on the spot while more than 10 are injured. The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Where 3 more injured died during treatment, as a result of which the total number of deaths increased to 6. The condition of 2 injured is said to be critical. The Taliban surrounded the area and started a search operation.
