According to media reports, Vibhav Pandya, the half-brother of Hardik Pandya, the captain of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has been arrested by the Mumbai Police on charges of fraud of around Rs 4.3 crore.
Vaibhav allegedly embezzled around Rs 4.3 crore from the partnership firm, causing losses to his brother Hardik and Krunal Pandya.

Krunal and Vaibhav set up a business in 2021 in which both cricketers Hardik and Krunal were to get 40 percent and their half-brother Vaibhav 20 percent, but instead of sharing the profits, Vaibhav formed a separate company and transferred the profits to this company. .
Officials of the Economic Offenses Wing of the Mumbai Police said that Vaibhu was charged with cheating and forgery while the complaint was filed by Hardik Pandya.
