Amir-ul-Azeem appointed Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami

A meeting of the Central Majlis Shura was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, in which Majlis Shura appointed Amir-ul-Azeem as Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Spokesperson of Jamaat-e-Islami Qaiser Sharif says that Liaquat Baloch, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Dr. Attaur Rehman and Dr. Osama Razi have been appointed as Naib Emirs.

Qaiser Sharif said that after the completion of the consultation process, more deputy emirs, deputy secretary general will be appointed, all the posts have been assigned after consultation with the Shura.

It should be noted that the newly elected Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman took the oath of office yesterday. Emotional scenes were also seen on the occasion of taking oath.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman from Karachi is the sixth Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, the members of Jamaat-e-Islami have elected him as the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami for 5 years.
