Arshad Sharif murder case; Hamid Mir’s appeal to the court for the establishment of a judicial commission

Islamabad: Senior journalist Hamid Mir approached the Islamabad High Court for setting up a judicial commission to investigate the Arshad Sharif murder case.

In the petition filed in the High Court, it has been requested by Hamid Mir that the court should establish a judicial commission for a transparent investigation into the murder of Arshad Sharif and that the JIT established to investigate the murder should submit the facts, data and reports related to the case in the court. Order submission.

It has been contended in the petition that the court should allow the petitioner to assist in the formulation of TORs of the Judicial Commission.

In the petition filed in the court, the President of Pakistan, Interior Secretary and DGFIA have been made parties.
