Azlan Shah Hockey Cup: Pakistan vs New Zealand 1:1 goal draw

Today’s hockey match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Ipoh, Malaysia was tied with one goal each.

The match of the last round of Azlan Shah Hockey Cup was interesting and thrilling, both teams could not score any goal till the second quarter of the match.

During this interesting match, Kiwis also got 2 penalty corners but they could not take any advantage, on the other hand, Pakistan also got chances to score but did not get success.

In the sixth minute of the third quarter, New Zealand opened their account and managed to score the first goal of the match, but in the eighth minute, the player of the Pakistani team, Abu Bakr Mahmood, scored a penalty corner to equalize the match.

In the third quarter, the Pakistani team got several open chances, but New Zealand’s defensive line failed all attacks, while in the fourth quarter, both teams tried hard to gain the lead but could not score.

It should be noted that Pakistan has already qualified for the finals of the event where they will face Japan in Yoga.
