Lahore: National T20 cricket team captain Babar Azam has said that we are trying to win the series, we will learn from the mistakes of the previous match, we are playing with the World Cup in mind.

Before the fourth match of the five-match T20 series against New Zealand, captain Babar Azam said in a press conference that we are trying to win the series (against New Zealand), I believe in all the boys, these boys should play well. He said that he will learn from the mistakes of the previous match.

Babar Azam further said that this series is a good opportunity to prepare before the World Cup, that’s why they are trying different combinations, trying to finalize the preparations for the World Cup.

Babar Azam said that different experiments can be done in this series as the aim is to prepare a strong team for the World Cup.

The national team captain added that we are trying to give every player a chance so that all players are ready, adding that the aim is to do well for Pakistan and playing with a positive mindset.

Regarding the injury of wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan, he said that his injury is not so special but as a precaution, he has decided not to play the last two matches.

In response to the question regarding the fitness of the players, Babar Azam said that all the players are working on fitness, the Kakul camp has benefited in terms of fitness.
