Government is very concerned about farmers, wheat problem, Ahsan Iqbal

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says that the government is very concerned about the wheat problem of the farmers.

Speaking to Geo News, Ahsan Iqbal said that the issue of wheat procurement of farmers is very important, the caretaker government imported wheat when Pakistan’s own granaries were full.

Ahsan Iqbal said that wheat market prices crashed due to excess supply.

He said that the Prime Minister has ordered an inquiry into the issue of wheat import, trying to provide relief to the farmers as per the resources.
