Chinese scientists have created a diamond from red flowers for the first time in the world. It is said that Chinese scientists created this three-carat diamond entirely from the element carbon and red flowers.

This amazing creation was unveiled today in Luoyang, Henan Province, China.

Weiyang Time Promise Company, which specializes in synthetic diamonds, donated the diamond to the Luoyang National Peony Garden.

Late last month, Luoyang City’s peony garden agreed to supply the necessary peonies (red flowers), including about fifty old peonies, to create this unique diamond.

The diamond is valued at 300,000 Chinese Yuan. Wang Jing, CEO of Luoyang Time Promise Company, said that the diamond was produced through high temperature and pressure with the use of technology to extract peonies from biogenic carbon.

Furthermore, it is said that the process of making this diamond from peony-driven carbon elements is quite complicated.

According to the Chinese company, a specially designed tool is used to extract the element carbon from various sources such as hair, bones and flowers to break its chemical bonds, thus creating the diamond.
