Dwarf horse set world record for longest tail

South Carolina: A small breed of horse in America has set a new world record for the longest tail.

According to American media, a small horse from the state of South Carolina has broken the previous record with a tail of 5 feet, 11.26 inches.

The horse’s own height is 3 feet 1 inch and he is 36 years old. The horse’s owner, Risa Formisano, told Guinness World Records that she used to wrap Sweetie’s tail in plastic so it wouldn’t hit the ground when the horse walked.

The lady also said that she shampoos and conditions her tail twice a year. Risa bought Sweetie in 2012 to care for the remaining two horses after one of them died.

I went to a man’s stable and among many horses I chose Sweety, says Risa. Sweetie’s tail first touched the ground in 2012 and has been growing ever since.
