Committed to working with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism; United States

Washington: In a press release of the US State Department, ISPR has assured its support for the statement of the banned TTP’s involvement in terrorist incidents in Pakistan.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a press release that the focus is on the treatment of Afghan refugees in Pakistan and calls for a review of refugee transfers from Pakistan in light of the troubling situation in Afghanistan.

In response to a question about the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Mathew Miller said that this is an internal matter of Pakistan and we do not have the authority to interfere in such matters.

Spokesman Matthew Miller, while commenting on the statement of Pakistan Army’s public relations agency ISPR, said that we are committed to working with Pakistan to counter the common threat posed by terrorist groups across the region.

Matthew Miller continued his speech and said that Pakistan has suffered a lot at the hands of terrorists and the United States regrets the loss of lives and injuries in this incident.

It may be recalled that the ISPR statement presented evidence of the involvement of the banned party TTP in the recent incident of terrorism in Pakistan.

The spokesperson of the US State Department added that we advise not to send back refugees from other neighboring countries of Afghanistan at this time.
