The continent of Asia was the most disaster-hit region in the world last year due to climate change.

According to the report, Asia suffered 79 climate disasters last year. Of which more than 80 percent were related to floods and storms. More than 2000 deaths were caused by these disasters.

According to the report, Asia is warming faster than the global average.

The report added that many countries in the region last year were the hottest on record, and glaciers in Asia are also rapidly losing volume due to extreme heat, which is a sign of danger.
