In the 31st meeting of the Apex Committee chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, it has been decided to keep a close watch on schools to keep children safe from drugs.

Speaking on the occasion, Murad Ali Shah said that institutions should be established for the rehabilitation of drug addicts, the Narcotics Department should speed up operations in collaboration with other provinces and federal institutions.

He said that this meeting is a continuation of the previous Apex Committee. The President held an important meeting on law and order in the Chief Minister’s House yesterday.

The Chief Minister of Sindh says that the President of the State has given instructions to speed up the operation against drugs, he has declared the occupations on the lands intolerable, the Sindh Government will fully implement the orders of the President of the State.

Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government is taking strict measures to restore peace in the province, has created a comprehensive strategy to eliminate street crime and kidnapping for ransom, and the Sindh government is working hard against drug mafia and trafficking. .

Provincial Minister Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Sharjeel Inam Memon gave a briefing in the meeting and said that in coordination with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, a Nigerian was arrested in the drug trade, 3 drug dealers were killed in a crackdown in Hyderabad. gone.

Sharjeel Memon says that 164 cases related to drug trade have been registered and 166 arrests have been made, 4.3 kg of heroin, 419.472 kg of hashish and 1200 kg of cannabis have been recovered in the crackdown.

Speaking on the occasion, Corps Commander Karachi said that the Sindh government will be fully supported in the anti-narcotics operation.
