Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar meeting with Secretary General of OIC

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with the Secretary General of OIC, he urged for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and delivery of humanitarian aid.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the two leaders met on the sidelines of the 15th Islamic Summit in Gambia.

According to the Foreign Office, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar congratulated the Secretary General on the successful holding of the Islamic Summit.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s principled stand on Palestine and the Pakistani stand on Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied territories.

The Deputy Prime Minister also demanded the restoration of the Palestinian people’s right to return to Palestine and appreciated the efforts of the OIC for peace in the Middle East.

According to the spokesperson of Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar expressed Pakistan’s full support for peace initiatives.
