“Despite giving 25 years to the industry, I am being disrespected”

Mumbai: Bollywood’s renowned filmmaker and host Karan Johar gave a shout-out to comedian Ketan Singh, who impersonated him.
According to Indian media, recently the promo of India’s comedy show ‘Madness Matchaenge-India Ko Hansaenge’ went viral in which comedian Ketan Singh impersonated filmmaker Karan Johar.
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi was also present in this comedy show who was praising comedian Ketan Singh for impersonating Karan Johar.
As soon as the promo passed before Karan Johar’s eyes, the filmmaker expressed his disappointment and released a note on his official Instagram handle’s story without mentioning the name of the comedy show.
Karan Johar said in his Instagram story, “I was sitting with my mother watching television when I came across a promo of a reality comedy show of a respected channel in which a man was imitating me with extraordinary taste.”
He said that I expected such actions from my critics and anonymous people, but when people from my own industry do such actions against me, I will definitely feel pain.
The filmmaker further said that I have been working in this industry for more than 25 years, people from my own industry are disrespecting me.
