Karachi: The dollar depreciated by 15 paise in the last interbank session of the business week, while it gained marginally by 2 paise in the open market.

According to the report of the Forex Association of Pakistan, the value of the dollar decreased by 15 paise against the rupee in the interbank market on Friday, as a result of which the value of the dollar decreased from 278.55 rupees to 278.40 rupees.

The dollar rose to Rs 279.68 from Rs 279.66 in the open market with an increase of 2 paise.

Among other currencies in the forex report, the Euro fell by 65 paise, after which the Euro fell to Rs 295.60 from Rs 296.25.

Similarly, the value of the British pound decreased by Rs 1.11 from Rs 346.49 to Rs 345.38.
