Eid-ul-Fitr… the day of reward and honor from the Lord and forgiveness from sins

The day of Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of reward from Allah and a day of forgiveness, it is a festival of joy for Muslims and Allah is pleased with His servants.

The day of Eid is the day to receive rewards from Allah Almighty for completing the month of fasting, so what can be a greater occasion of joy and happiness than this? This is the reason that this day has a special place and importance in the Muslim Ummah. It is desired to come back. And “Fitr” means “breaking or ending the fast”.

Since on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the series of fasts ends and on this day Allah gives the reward of the worshipers of Ramadan, so accordingly it was called “Eid-ul-Fitr”. It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the people of Madinah used to celebrate festivals for two days and used to play games and spectacles during them. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked them, “What is the reality and status of these two days that you celebrate?” They said, “We were in the age of Jahiliyyah (i.e., before Islam). They used to celebrate it in the same way.” Hearing this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Allah has appointed two better days for these two festivals of yours.

The day of Eid-ul-Adha and the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.” (Abu Dawud) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) allowed the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha within Shariah limits, and encouraged others to join in these joys. But he also stressed on worship that a believer does not forget his Lord under any circumstances. In the blessed hadiths, many virtues of the night of Eid and the day of Eid have been described. It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “When the night of Eid-ul-Fitr occurs, it is called in the heavens as “Lailat al-Jaiza”, which means, “The Night of Rewards.” And when the morning of Eid dawns, God Almighty sends angels in all the cities and they stand at the corners of the roads and call out with a voice that every creature except the jinn and humans can hear. “O Ummah Muhammadiyah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), walk in the presence of the Lord, who is the most generous.” When people go to the place of Eid, Allah says to the angels: What is the reward, who has completed his work?” They say, “O our God! His reward is that his labor and wages should be given in full.” So Allah says, “O angels! I make you a witness that I have granted them My pleasure and forgiveness in exchange for Ramadan fasts and Taraweeh. Ask me, by my honor and glory and exaltation! I will grant whatever question you ask about the Hereafter today.

Whatever question you ask about the world, I will look at your interests. By my glory! I will not embarrass you in front of criminals and unbelievers. I am satisfied with you.” The entire Ramadan was spread in the presence of Allah for forgiveness. This Eid is for such lucky people and now is the time for them to get paid.

However, the Companions of the Prophet (may peace be upon him) and the elders of the religion used to pray for Allah’s acceptance instead of performing their worship. Hazrat Ali (RA) said to those who came to congratulate him on Eid, “Eid belongs to those who have been saved from the punishment of the hereafter and the punishment after death.”

How sad it is that in our country “Chand Raat” has gained the status of escape from Shari’a prohibitions, while in Hadith Sharif, “Chand Raat” is called “Lailat Al-Jaiza”, which means “the night of reward”. It has been said. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “In the last night of Ramadan, the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is forgiven.

The Companions said, “O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace!” Is that Shab al-Qadr? He said, “No.” The laborer is given a wage when he completes the work and it is completed in the last night, so it is forgiven. But be careful, many of them also spend all their hard work that night engaging in blood and playing.

In fact, as soon as Satan is freed, he starts trying to divert God’s people from the path of piety and piety and lead them to debauchery and debauchery, and unfortunately, many people fall into his deceptive net. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “When the day of Eid comes, the devil cries loudly. Seeing his failure and crying, all the devils gather around him and ask, “You What made you sad and sad?” Satan says, “Oh, alas! Allah has forgiven the Ummah Muhammadiyah today.

Therefore, you engage them again in pleasures and carnal desires. It was narrated from Hazrat Abu Umama that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever stays up on the nights of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha with the intention of worship, his heart will not die even on the day when all hearts die.” It will happen.” People went to greet Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza (RA) during the Khilafah era, and they saw that Amirul Momineen was eating pieces of dry bread.

Someone said, “Today is the day of Eid?” Upon hearing this, he heaved a cold sigh and said, “When there are so many people in the world who cannot afford even this piece of bread, then we have the right to celebrate Eid.” Why is it achieved?” It is narrated that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was returning after finishing the Eid prayer, and on the way, he saw a child, who was sitting in a corner of the field and crying. The Prophet (PBUH) went to him and lovingly placed his hand on his head, then asked, “Why are you crying?” The child said, “My father is dead, my mother has remarried, my step-son.” Father has sent me out of the house, I have something to eat.

No cloth to wear.” O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace! How can I not be satisfied with this?” The Holy Prophet (PBUH) took the child home.

Sadaqah al-Fitr is obligatory on every Muslim who can afford it. In this regard, it is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas that “The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, made sadaqah al-Fitr obligatory so that the fast is freed from nonsense and nonsense and for the poor.” Food should also be arranged. This shows that basically the philosophy of Sadaqah Fitr is that even poor Muslims can participate fully in the joys of Eid al-Fitr.

Similarly, there is another hadith that says, “Make the needy happy on the day of Eid Al-Fitr.” Although Sadaqah al-Fitr can be given at any time, it is usually given in the last days of Ramadan, when That many people give alms to beggars sitting on the road while going for Eid prayer, which is not a proper way. It is better to pay Fitrana before Eid so that the needy people can also prepare for Eid.

It was narrated from Hazrat Abu Umama that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever stays up on the nights of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha with the intention of worship, his heart will not die even on the day when all hearts die.” (Ibn Majah) It was narrated from Hazrat Mu’adh bin Jabal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever worships five nights, Jannah becomes obligatory for him. Those nights are the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah.” 9, 8th night, the night of Shab-i-Barat and the night of Eid-ul-Fitr.” (Al-Targheeb and Al-Tarheeb) Therefore, instead of spending this night in aimless wandering and sinful activities, we should spend it in Nawafl, Tahjud prayer, recitation of the Qur’an and other acts of worship. Be engaged to receive His blessings.

On this happy occasion of Eid, one of our tasks should be to look at our neighbors and relatives to see if there is any one of them who is deprived of joining the joys of Eid due to their poverty and limited resources. If this is so, then be sure, no matter how much we wear nice clothes, decorate a long table, share Eids, our Eid will still remain dull, but such an Eid cannot be called an Eid, in which other people Don’t join in. One should try to find white-clad people and help them on such a joyous occasion so that they and their families can also join in the joy of Eid.

In this context, one important thing should also be kept in mind, we pray that the Almighty blesses all of us with the happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr and allows the poor to remember on this occasion. Keep it safe and keep it permanent until the morning of judgment. Amen
