New Delhi: In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a woman threw boiling water on her husband while her in-laws also beat her.
According to Indian media, in Uttar Pradesh, a woman named Amrita threw boiling water on her husband Ashish Roy, who was sleeping with her. He was admitted to the hospital due to severe burns.
Ashish Rai told the police that my wife asked to walk to visit her brother. When we reached there, he insisted on staying the night at his in-laws.
According to Ashish, when I fell asleep, Amrita brought boiling water from the kitchen and poured it on me. This water was kept on the stove by her sister-in-law. When I ran out screaming because of my injuries, my father-in-law caught me.
Ashish further said that father-in-law and brother-in-law together beat me. I saved my life and reached the hospital with great difficulty.
Police arrested Ashish’s wife, father-in-law and brother-in-law. Wife Amrita told the police that her husband Ashish was having an extramarital affair with another woman. Did it to teach him a lesson.
