Facilitators of dacoits have been brought in Karachi, opposition leader Ali Sohariya

Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Ali Sohariya has claimed that the policemen who facilitated the dacoits have been brought to Karachi.

Speaking to the media after meeting with IG Sindh, Ali Sohriya said that people’s patience is running out on street crime, the day is not far when people will start surrounding the police stations.

He further said that such police officers have been appointed in Karachi, who were accused of facilitating dacoits in Kacha.

He said that IG Sindh has been told that if any police post is vacant in Karachi, it should be filled from Karachi itself.

Ali Soharri said that there was a report yesterday that 79 policemen were the facilitators of raw material robbers, they were transferred to Karachi, IG Sindh has assured that the order will be returned.

Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar presided over a meeting regarding law and order at Central Police Office Karachi.

An 11-member delegation of MQM participated in the meeting under the leadership of opposition leader Ali Soharri, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab and other provincial ministers were also present on the occasion.

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon briefed the participants on law and order and police measures.
