Faizabad sit-in: Agreement with TLP first, Prime Minister Khaqan Abbasi was shown later, Ahsan Iqbal

Islamabad: PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has stated before the Faizabad Dharna Commission that the agreement was signed with TLP first and it was shown to Prime Minister Khaqan Abbasi later.

According to Express News, the new revelation of former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal regarding the Faizabad sit-in has come to light. Abbasi was shown later.

Ahsan Iqbal further disclosed that the then DGISI General Faiz Hameed joined the Faizabad dharna agreement insistently, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi objected when he saw the agreement.

Ahsan Iqbal gave a statement to the Dharna Commission that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was told that the agreement had already been signed and he could not withdraw from it.
