Famous French actor Gerard Depardieu arrested on sexual assault charges

Paris: The famous French actor Gerard Depardieu was arrested by the police on allegations of sexual assault.

The actor’s legal team has confirmed his detention in Paris while his trial is scheduled for October.

Gerard’s lawyer says the actor himself appeared at the police station on Monday for questioning.

The 75-year-old actor was accused of sexual assault by two women during the shooting of the film in 2021.

It should be noted that Gerard Depardieu has been investigated on allegations of sexual assault and harassment before and he has denied all the allegations.
