Lahore: A firing incident took place at the house of actress Arooj Khan in the limits of Sabzazar police station.
According to the details, a person named Nasir Khan opened fire at the house of actress Arooj Khan in broad daylight, the CCTV footage of which has been obtained by the police.
Police sources say that a person named Nasir Khan wanted to establish a relationship with the actress at gunpoint, he was threatening the actress at gunpoint for a few days.
Sources say that SP Iqbal Town Akhlaqullah Tarar and SHO Sabzazar are present at the spot along with the police force.
SP Iqbal Town Akhlaqullah Tarar has also instructed SHO Sabzazar to arrest the accused immediately while a team has been formed under the leadership of SDPO Sabzazar.
Police say that all resources including Safe City cameras and CCTV cameras will be used and the accused will be arrested immediately.
SP Iqbal Town Akhlaqullah Tarar said in his statement that further legal action will be taken after receiving the request.
On the other hand, Arooj Khan has demanded Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana to arrest the accused soon.
