Four criminals involved in the murder of Ali Raza Abidi were sentenced to life imprisonment

Karachi: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court sentenced 4 criminals involved in the murder of MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi to life imprisonment.

A special court in the Anti-Terrorism Complex in Karachi Central Jail pronounced the verdict in the murder case of MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi. The prosecution was able to prove the crime.

The court sentenced 4 criminals to life imprisonment after being found guilty in MQM leader Raza Ali Abidi’s murder case. Among them are Abdul Haseeb, Ghazali, Muhammad Farooq and Abu Bakr. The court also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on the accused.

The court registered the case against the absconding accused Muhammad Farooq, Hasnain, Ghulam Murtaza alias Kali Charan and said that the accused should be produced before the court whenever they are caught.

According to the police, the ambush attackers targeted Ali Raza Abidi when his car was entering the house. The terrorists used nine mm pistols. Ali Raza Abidi was shot in the head, neck and chest. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but he survived.

A case was registered against the killers under the provisions of the Terrorism Act and Murder at the Gurzi police station.
