Free Wi-Fi service locations doubled in Lahore
Each free Wi-Fi device installed across the city has a range of up to 300 feet radius.
Lahore: Punjab Safe Cities activated Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Free Wi-Fi service in Lahore from 50 to 100 points.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Safe City is providing free Wi-Fi service for the convenience of citizens in emergency. Citizens can contact the police and their loved ones through CM Maryam Nawaz Free Wi-Fi in any emergency.
Citizens can use Women Safety App, Punjab Police App and WhatsApp from the free Wi-Fi service. In an emergency, you can contact your loved ones through WhatsApp call or message through the free Wi-Fi service.

According to the spokesperson, this service is only for emergency use through which various applications can be downloaded and can also be used to book a taxi ride.
Spokesperson Safe Cities explained that the free Wi-Fi emergency service is not for video streaming or entertainment, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and other such entertainment apps.
