Haider Hussain will continue as secretary, sources said

The factions of Pakistan Hockey Federation have agreed to ensure Pakistan Hockey’s participation in international events while Haider Hussain has been asked to continue working as secretary to run hockey affairs.

A meeting of Pakistan Hockey Federation factions was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood.

Sources say that it was decided in the meeting that Haider Hussain will continue to work as the secretary of the hockey federation while a committee will be formed to appoint the president of the hockey federation.

Sources said that in the meeting, it was agreed to ensure the participation of Pakistan Hockey in the international event, the establishment of an impartial selection committee will be implemented.

Sources said that the players of both camps will be called to Islamabad for Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament. The players in both the camps will give trials for the Azlan Shah Cup again in Islamabad.
