OIC countries should work together for ceasefire in Gaza, Foreign Minister
Addressing the OIC meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed deep concern over the ongoing Israeli barbaric attacks in Gaza.
Banjul: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that OIC countries should work together for ceasefire and uninterrupted humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Addressing the OIC meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed deep concern over the ongoing Israeli barbaric attacks in Gaza. The Foreign Minister also reiterated support for an independent Palestinian state and full membership in the United Nations.
He said that the OIC countries should work together for ceasefire and uninterrupted humanitarian aid in Gaza. The Foreign Minister further said that India is committing atrocities on Kashmiris in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
On this occasion, Ishaq Dar met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jehon Biramov, in which bilateral relations were discussed.
The Foreign Minister also appreciated Azerbaijan’s strong and principled stand on supporting the people of occupied Kashmir against India’s illegal occupation.
