If the May 9 attack was known, the arrangement would have been different, Rana Sanaullah

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah while talking about the tragedy of May 9 said that it was known that PTI would protest, it was not known that it would attack.

Speaking in Geo News’ program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Saat”, Rana Sanaullah admitted the intelligence failure and said that if the attack had been known, the management would have been different.

Rana Sana said that the government thought that PTI people would protest like politicians do, come to the square and raise slogans, engage them and pick them up. But whatever they did, the government was not ready for it.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs said that when there was an attack on the installations of the defense organization, it was decided that the trial would be in the military court. They walk and are later acquitted, if the trial was allowed under the Army Act, decisions would have been made in 30 days.

Rana Sana said that our effort was to ensure that there was no loss of life, so the guards were removed, their program and plan was to attack and loot, if there was no plan, the leadership was with them. It was not known at what point to stop the workers, there is so much evidence that there is no ambiguity, if there is a trial, someone will be punished, the trial itself has been stayed.

He said that the founder PTI is not ready to sit with political parties, what kind of politics is this, as a political party and government we are ready to talk, when PTI was imposed we did so even then. We were asked to sit together, on one side they say that we have no authority and on the other side they say that we stole the mandate.
