Iran imposed sanctions on American and British officials and companies

Tehran: Iran has imposed sanctions on American and British officials and institutions for supporting Israel in the war against the Palestinians.

According to the report of the French news agency AFP, in a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, it was announced to impose sanctions on American and British officials and institutions.

Among the seven senior US officials Iran has imposed sanctions on are Special Operations Command Commander General Brian Fenton and former US Navy Fifth Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Brad Cooper.

Among the British officials and institutions that will be affected by the Iranian sanctions are Defense Secretary Grant Shoppes, the head of the British Army’s Strategic Commander, James Hawkenhill, and the British Royal Navy in the Red Sea.

Apart from this, Iran has also announced the imposition of fines on US companies Lockheed Martin and Chevron and British companies Elbit Systems, Parker Maggot and Rafale UK.

According to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sanctions include a ban on accounts and money transactions related to Iran’s financial and banking system, seizure of (American and British) assets within the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and entry into Iran. including non-issuance of visas.

However, it is not clear how the sanctions imposed on Iran will affect US and British officials or entities, assets and dealings with Iran.

It should be noted that according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since October 7, 34,568 Palestinians have been martyred, most of whom are children and women.
