According to Express News, containers have been placed by the police at the entrances of the red zone and any unauthorized person is being prevented from entering the red zone.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened in Adiala Jail and its adjoining areas, with additional personnel deployed on the road leading to Adiala Jail. New pickets have been set up at different places on Adiala Road.

Ahead of May 9, Section 144 is in force in Rawalpindi. In Rawalpindi, illegal gatherings and releases have been banned. Any kind of rally or protest was also banned on Adiala Road. Security has also been tightened at the entry and exit points of Adiala Jail.
