Israel attacks Rafah after Hamas proposals are approved

Israel’s stubbornness remains, after Hamas approved the Gaza ceasefire proposals, Israel attacked Rafah, causing casualties.

The Israeli army says they are carrying out targeted attacks in the eastern Rafah area and that they are limited.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office says that the proposal approved by Hamas does not meet Israel’s demands, but the Israeli government will send a delegation for negotiations.

According to news agencies, the Israeli war cabinet has decided that the operation on Rafah will continue.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar says that the Qatari delegation will go to Cairo today to resume indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas through mediators.

In this regard, the US says that it is concerned about Israel’s latest attacks on Rafah, but it does not seem to be a major military operation.

According to US officials, it does not appear that Israel is launching a major military operation in the densely populated areas of Rafah.
