Karachi: The kidnappers killed a 12-year-old child for not getting a ransom, the police arrested the brother-in-law of the murdered child along with his accomplice.
A 12-year-old boy who was abducted two days ago from Madina Colony in Orangi Town was brutally killed for not paying the ransom. AVCC police arrested the brother-in-law and his friend involved in the murder of the kidnapped child and recovered the body of the child.
On May 8, a 12-year-old boy, Muhammad Ubaid alias Ahsan son of Muhammad Ishtiaq, a resident of Orangi Town Sector 11, Madina Colony Street No. 4, House No. 431 of Mominabad Police Station, was kidnapped by unknown armed suspects, whose case is Accused No. 24/256 of Section 364A. Under the complaint of the father of the abducted child, Mohammad Ishtiaq, an investigation was started by registering in the Mominabad police station.
On May 9, the parents of the abducted child received a call demanding a ransom of Rs 15 lakh from the kidnappers. AVCC and CPLC conducted a joint operation in Orangi Town on technical grounds and arrested 2 accused Furqan and Farhan.
The AVCC police recovered the body of the kidnapped child who was murdered from Khairabad area of ​​Manghopir on the identification of the arrested accused. AVCC police called the area police and crime scene unit to the spot.
SSPA AVCC Zafar Siddiqui Chhanga said that a call was made to the parents of the abducted child at 5 pm on May 9 for a ransom of Rs 15 lakh, which was reported by AVCC Comli. The case was not yet transferred to AVCC, however, AVCC and CPLC started working on technical grounds and solved the case within 12 hours and arrested 2 accused.
The arrested main accused Furqan is the brother-in-law of the murdered kidnapped child while the second accused is Furqan’s friend Farhan. After identifying the arrested accused, the police reached Manghopir area, from where the body of the murdered kidnapped child was recovered.
SSPAVCC said that the mother of the slain abducted child had returned from Dubai a month ago and the mother of the slain abducted child had 15 to 20 lakh rupees and the main accused Furqan, who had entered the house, took 15 lakhs from the family of the abducted child. A ransom of Rs.
The arrested accused killed the child only after abducting him because the kidnapped child knew his brother-in-law. The arrested accused had demanded ransom from the parents of the kidnapped child after killing the child. The police could not get enough time to take any action for recovery.
The arrested accused killed the child before the FIR was registered and the parents were informed. The mother of the deceased abducted child was a domestic worker in Dubai and had returned only a month ago.
The SSP said that the arrested accused will be further investigated and whoever is involved in this case will be arrested. He said that the previous criminal record of the arrested accused will also be checked.
