Karachi; A speeding car collided with a dumper, a youth died, 4 injured

Karachi: A speeding car rammed into a roadside dumper near Superhighway New Sabzi Mandi, killing a youth and injuring 4 people.

According to the police, the five friends were returning from the Jameel Memon Society after seeing the sacrificial cow. The deceased youth was married 7 months ago and was the only child of his widowed mother.

On receiving the information about the accident that happened to the high-speed car number APB-592 near Superhighway New Sabzi Mandi limits of Sachal police station, the body and the injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by ambulance.

The youth who died in the accident was identified as 28-year-old Numan son of Amin, while the injured included 24-year-old Owais son of Rashid, 25-year-old Ahmed Mujtaba son of Imran, 20-year-old Khuzima son of Numan and 22-year-old Ahmed son of Nasir. The condition of 2 youths who were injured in the accident is critical, they have been shifted to Civil Hospital Trauma Center after first aid.

The injured youth in the car accident belonged to Owais and he was driving it. The five friends had gone to see the sacrificial cow at the society on the Superhighway and met with an accident on their way back.

Deceased Nauman was a resident of Jamshed Road near Newtown Masjid and the only child of his widowed mother while he worked at a car showroom at New MA Jinnah Road. Deceased Nauman was married 7 months ago. The deceased’s father used to buy and sell land, and he was shot and killed by robbers while returning from Sarjani town 3 years ago.

The condition of the injured Ahmed Mujtaba and Khazeema is said to be critical.
