Karachi: 2 days ago, there was a drop scene of a robbery of 50 lakh rupees from outside the bank in Kharadar area, the police arrested the employee who deposited the money in the bank on the charge of being the mastermind of the robbery, the accused confessed to the incident.
According to SSP City Arif Aziz, 2 days ago there was a robbery of 50 lakh rupees outside the bank in Kharadar area, the employee who deposited the money in the bank turned out to be the mastermind of the robbery.
The Kharadar police took action and arrested the mastermind employee of the robbery, who has been identified as Sameer.
According to SSP City, the accused along with his other 3 accomplices staged this robbery, the accused can be seen doing suspicious activities in the CCTV footage.
Usama, the accomplice of the accused, came on a motorcycle and snatched a bag full of money from the accused Sameer while brandishing a weapon. The other 2 accomplices of the accused, Moeez Tanoli and Aqib alias, were standing behind in the vehicle as backup.
A case number 146/24 under section 392/397 of this incident was registered in Kharadar police station.
According to the police spokesperson, legal action has been initiated against the arrested accused and the search for his accomplices is on.
