The farmers who protested against the Punjab government not starting the purchase of wheat were arrested by the police, while many were injured in the lathi charge.

According to the details, the Kisan Ittehad organization protested against the provincial government on the Mall Road against the non-starting of procurement of government wheat.

Clashes broke out between the police and people at the GPO, while the police used batons to disperse the protesters, resulting in injuries to several protesters.
