Load shedding during exams, NEPRA instructions to power companies

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has taken notice of the issue of load shedding during the examinations by the electricity companies.

Nepra has issued instructions to all companies, including K Electric, keeping in mind the difficulties faced by students due to load shedding during exams.

Nepra directed the power companies to review the load shedding and said that uninterrupted power supply should be maintained during the examination papers.

According to the Nepra notification, it should be ensured that there is no load shedding during the examination session, failure of uninterrupted power supply may lead to regulatory action.

According to the statement, Nepra has received complaints of load shedding during the examination sessions, which has led to difficulties for the students during the examination papers.
