Local people caught a crocodile from Dasht river
Local people caught a crocodile from Dasht river in Jiwani area of Balochistan.
Technical Adviser WWF Mohammad Moazzam Khan says that the crocodile was caught by local people near Pakistan-Iran border.
Marsh crocodile is scientifically known as Crocodylus palustris, he said. These crocodiles are released in suitable places.
Technical Adviser WWF said that WWF has dispatched its team, contacted the wildlife department to save the crocodile.
He said that the population of crocodiles is under threat.
