Major change to beard and mustache policy in the British Armed Forces
OXFORD: Britain’s military has made a major change in its policy on soldiers wearing beards and moustaches.
According to the policy change, soldiers are allowed to have beards and mustaches, while beards and mustaches must be regularly trimmed.
In this regard, the spokesperson of the British forces said that the issue of policy change was under discussion for several months, in some cases clean shave will be mandatory on departmental orders.
The spokesperson said that the new policy will help new recruits, Muslim and Sikh soldiers already have this permission, British Navy and Air Force already have this permission.
