The 60-year-old woman won the title of ‘Miss Universe Buenos Aires’

Argentina: Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez, 60, broke age and beauty stereotypes by winning the title of ‘Miss Universe Buenos Aires’ 2024.

According to international media reports, 60-year-old Alejandra Marisa Rodriguez from Argentina has also qualified for Miss Argentina 2024 after winning the Miss Universe Buenos Aires.

Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez, 60, will represent Buenos Aires at the Miss Universe Argentina pageant in May 2024. Previously, only women between the ages of 18 and 28 were eligible to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.

However, the organizing body of the Miss Universe pageant announced earlier this year that women over the age of 28 can now participate as candidates.

Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez speaking to the media after winning the title said, “I am very excited to start my new journey in beauty pageants. I am happy that the judges saw my passion and confidence instead of my age.”

According to media reports, Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez is a lawyer and journalist by profession and belongs to La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

It should be noted that if Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez wins the Miss Argentina pageant in May, she will represent Argentina by participating in the ‘Miss Universe’ pageant in September 2024.

The Miss Universe pageant will be held in Mexico in September this year in which beauty queens from all over the world will participate.
