Mayor of London called for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine

London Mayor Sadiq Khan demanded an immediate ceasefire in Palestine.

Sadiq Khan said that the British government should publicly demand a ceasefire, stop the Israeli government from attacking Rafah.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said that the Israeli attack on Rafah would be a great tragedy, in case of an attack on Rafah, there is a fear of more innocent Palestinians being killed.

He said that providing aid to Palestinian families will become more difficult than before.

Sadiq Khan said that there is an urgent need for a change in the approach of the British government on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Britain can no longer allow itself to be involved in the deaths of civilians.

He further said that Britain should immediately stop supplying arms to Israel.
