Former captain Misbah-ul-Haq supported foreign coaches for the Pakistan team.
In an exclusive interview to Express News, former captain Misbah-ul-Haq welcomed the possible decision of making Jason Gillespie and Gary Kirsten the head coach for the Test format and white-ball cricket and stressed on benefiting from his experience.
Misbah-ul-Haq said that I think both of them are very experienced cricketers and understand international cricket. The coach is working.

Regarding Gary Kirsten, Misbah mentioned the successful era of the Indian team and said that everyone knows about Gary Kirsten, he was a great cricketer and he has achieved a lot as a cricketer and as a coach. We should welcome them and give them an opportunity to bring positive change so that Pakistan cricket can move forward.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not officially announced South Africa’s Gary Kirsten and Australia’s Jason Gillespie as coaches, but both cricketers have been settled.
On the other hand, PCB has advertised for the search of Assistant Coach of Pakistan Cricket Team in both formats.
