Rawalpindi: Mobile phones worth crores of rupees were recovered from 2 passengers coming to Pakistan from Dubai.
FIA Immigration conducted an operation at Islamabad Airport, in which 2 passengers coming to Pakistan from abroad were arrested and mobile phones worth crores of rupees were recovered.
The accused Babar Ayub and Mohammad Salman had reached Pakistan from Dubai by flight number PK 234, and they have been arrested. According to the travel history, the suspects have traveled abroad several times over the past few weeks, where the luggage was searched on suspicion.
50 iPhone 15 Pro Max, 16 iPhone 15 Pro, 100 data cables and 3 Apple MacBooks have also been recovered from the belongings of the accused. The accused could not satisfy the authorities regarding the recovered goods. The accused have been handed over to the customs authorities for further legal action.
