Mohammad Amir was issued a visa to Ireland
Lahore: With the efforts of the Pakistan Cricket Board, fast bowler Muhammad Amir was issued a visa to Ireland.
According to sources, PCB’s logistics department has been entrusted with the task of booking flights for Mohammad Amir, and arrangements are being made for his early departure to Dublin.
It should be noted that due to visa issues, Mohammad Amir could not go to Dublin with the team. Mohammad Amir’s visa application was also submitted along with the team members, but the Ireland Embassy refused to grant him a visa.
The PCB also registered a protest to the host cricket board Ireland in this regard, and Mohammad Amir’s visa application was again submitted. After which now they have been issued visa after clearance.
PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi took personal interest in making Mohammad Amir’s visa possible, due to which Pacer got clearance.
