Pakistan and Iran have the same position on Gaza, Foreign Office

Islamabad: The Foreign Office has said that Pakistan and Iran have the same position on Gaza, and there is a need for an independent inquiry on the situation in Gaza.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Pakistan condemns Israel’s war crimes, so the international community should also take immediate notice of the situation in Gaza.

The spokesman said that the President of Iran, Dr. Syed Ibrahim Raisi, visited Pakistan from April 22 to 24, and both countries discussed cooperation in various fields. He said that Pakistan is concerned about the situation in Occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed region at the international level.

The spokesperson said that the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister will visit Riyadh on April 28 and 29 for the World Economic Forum. The Saudi leadership has invited the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister for a visit.

The Prime Minister will visit The Gambia on May 4 and 5, where the Prime Minister will discuss the issues facing the Muslim Ummah at a summit in The Gambia. Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif will also discuss the situation in Gaza while also discussing the right of self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will also attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Foreign Ministers meeting in Gambia and during the meeting will also meet with the foreign ministers of Muslim countries.
