Finance Minister meeting with Vice President of World Bank for South Asia
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb called on World Bank Vice President for South Asia Martin Riser and outlined the government’s priority reform areas.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Finance, World Bank Country Director Martin Riser was also present in the meeting, the Minister of Finance informed him about the economic situation of the country.
According to the statement, the finance minister also informed about the government’s efforts for economic stability, Martin Riser recognized Pakistan’s commitment to economic reforms.
On this occasion, the World Bank reiterated its readiness to provide technical and financial assistance.
Martin Riser said that the World Bank will provide assistance in implementing the reform agenda in the energy sector, the World Bank will also provide assistance in export promotion, microfinance.
