Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that decisions have been made regarding reducing electricity theft and transmission line

Speaking at the Federal Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister said that our exports and remittances have increased, the economic situation is improving with the collective effort of the past two months.

The Prime Minister said that the track and trace report on cigarettes came yesterday, the contract for the track and trace system was signed in 2019, in the first phase only cigarettes were included and later fertilizers, sugar and other sectors were included.

He said that this track and trace system was nothing but a complete fraud, the track and trace system related to cigarettes did not benefit enough, it is a serious joke that the system was installed on two lines in the cement plant and the others were left alone.

Shahbaz Sharif said that it was decided with consultation that the responsible persons will be determined from 2019 till today, a committee has been formed to investigate the operation of track and trace system. The committee will report within 72 hours on the issue of track and trace system.

The Prime Minister said that the cement factory owners will be good people, the factory owners were told to install this system with their own money. Was it cheating?

He said that FBR would have spent ten billion instead of one billion so that one thousand billion would come to the treasury. It was clean and passed.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he is sure that with joint efforts, this ship of the economy will be put ashore, FBR earns billions, this money will definitely come to the national treasury.

He said that what would be more dishonest is that no penalty clause has been included in the contract, he has never seen a contract like track trace system in his life, it is the job of FBR to take the dues, he is telling them that the money was taken by himself. Pay taxes, Saudi Arabia and other countries are moving forward with investment.
