Pakistan remains undefeated in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament, the last match was tied

Ipoh, Malaysia: The Pakistani team remained unbeaten in the round matches of the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament and tied the last match after a thrilling contest.

According to details, the last round match of Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup was played between Pakistan and New Zealand teams in Ipoh, Malaysia.

In the first two quarters of the match, both the teams could not score any goal, while New Zealand also wasted the opportunity to score on two penalty corners.

In the sixth minute of the third quarter, the New Zealand players failed to score, after which the Pakistani players took a defensive strategy and equalized the match in the next two minutes.

Muhammad Abubakar took full advantage of a penalty corner in the eighth minute of the third quarter to equalize New Zealand’s lead. After that, in the fourth quarter, both teams played well but failed to score and the match was tied at one goal each at the end of time.

After 13 years, Pakistan will play the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup against Japan tomorrow.
