Pakistan will provide all possible support for investment in Azad Kashmir, Asif Zardari

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that if the international community puts pressure on India to stop human rights violations and to implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, Pakistan will provide all possible assistance to invest in Azad Kashmir.

The President expressed these views while talking to Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq, who met him at the President’s House here on Monday. The President said that the international community should put pressure on India to stop human rights violations and implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

In the meeting, the overall situation of Azad Kashmir, issues related to development were discussed. The President said that Azad Kashmir has immense opportunities for tourism, to attract tourists Azad Kashmir’s tourism sector needs to be developed to its full potential.

He said that tourism in Azad Kashmir will help in socio-economic development and promotion of economic activities. The President said that Pakistan will provide all possible support for investment in various sectors of Azad Kashmir’s economy.

He said that the youth of Azad Kashmir needs to be equipped with the latest skills and education, the talented youth will play their role in the development of Azad Kashmir.

The president said that Pakistan can help the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government to benefit from the carbon credit market. The President of the State assured his support to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and his government.

Prime Minister Azad Kashmir invited President Asif Zardari to visit Azad Kashmir and address the Legislative Assembly.

Expressing grief over the loss of precious human lives during the recent rain-related incidents in different areas of Azad Kashmir, the President expressed hope that the Azad Kashmir government would help the affected families.
