Past stars of Pakistan cricket are ready to shine once again, the Pakistan Legends team under the leadership of Younis Khan will participate in the World Championship of Legends to be held in England in July.

The World Championship of Legends will be held from July 3 to 13 in Birmingham, England.

Apart from Pakistan, the hosts England, India, Australia, West Indies and South Africa will participate in this event at the historic Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Pakistan team will be led by former captain Younis Khan. Shahid Afridi will also be a part of the team while other players will be announced later.

The teams in the event will consist of retired or non-contracted players. According to the organizers, Australia’s Brett Lee, England’s Kevin Pietersen, South Africa’s Jack Kells and India’s Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have confirmed their participation.

In the press conference held in Karachi regarding the event, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi and Onar Kamil Khan of Team Pakistan Legends were present. All three expressed determination for Pakistan’s victory in the event.

Younis Khan said that former cricketers get a chance to meet old friends again in the league, while Shahid Afridi said that if such leagues continue, the players will always keep themselves fit.
